| The mobile clinic: helps us to provide all the facilities at the doorstep of the SWs. This helps easy availability of treatment, regular follow-up & maintains compliance. The doctors have to refer some patients who present in critical condition and those who need hospitalization to the hospital. The mobile clinic thus helps in the transport of these patients as an ambulance. It is also used for staff and condom transport as well as meeting place for our peers. |

FREE CONDOM DISTRIBUTION:
Free condoms are distributed to all SWs as a strategy for protection against AIDS, STI & pregnancy. Initially a limited no. of free condoms were provided by MDACS & the excess were provided by SAI, but now they have stopped it completely and hence SAI have to purchase all the condoms from HINDUSTAN LATEX at subsidized rates to provide them to our DIDIs |

FREE VCT For the diagnosis of HIV, VCT is encouraged which is also provided in mobile clinic where. Pre & post-test counseling always accompany testing along with information on health awareness, health education, nutrition and balanced diet. Also ART is provided to all those who need it with strict follow-up.
The confidentiality of HIV report can very well be kept because of the mobile clinic. |

| MEDICAL INVESTIGATIONS that our DIDIs need are done free of cost for e.g. x-ray, usg, blood and urine investigations. |

S.T.I. / AIDS / T.B. TREATMENT:: Special effort is made in order to diagnose and treat S.T.I. / AIDS / T.B. S.T.I. & opportunistic infection is treated by syndromic approach, but more importantly they are given knowledge to prevent further S.T.I. for T.B continuous effort is made by the entire team to prevent default and relapse of T.B. and thus prevent resistance to anti-tubercular drugs. This done by DOTS, (directly observed treatment short course). We also give anti retro viral treatment to a selected group of poor PLHAs as per the need. |
